Mosquitoes carry a variety of disease in our area, including West Nile virus and Eastern Equine encephalitis. Some people may have an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite that can range from minor to anaphylactic shock. To prevent mosquito bites, you should wear loose, long sleeve shirts and pants and put on an EPA registered mosquito repellent.
